Summary:
The State and Federal Proposal Writer is responsible for researching, writing, and editing proposals for state and federal contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the grant and contract process, as well as experience writing persuasive and compelling proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential US GOV opportunities.
- Develop and write proposals that meet the requirements of the US Gov agency
- Edit and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Track the status of proposals and submit required reports
- Maintain relationships with agencies
- Assist with other grant and contract management tasks
- Attending meetings and identifying opportunities for proposal writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Good strategic planning abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience writing contract proposals (Sr. Proposal Writer)
- 1+ years of experience writing contract proposals (Proposal Writer).
- Strong understanding of the contract process
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
