Job Profile: Jira Administrator/Developer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
  • 4+ years’ experience as JIRA Administrator/Developer
  • 2+ years of Development experience in Java/Groovy
  • In-depth knowledge of Jira
  • Demonstrable experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemas, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes
  • Demonstrable experience writing automation scripts preferably in Groovy/Python
  • Ability to write advanced JQL (Jira Query Language)
  • Ability to construct custom dashboards and advanced Filters
  • Ability to write custom plugins for Jira
  • Experience in performing Atlassian installations, migrations, and plugin installation
  • Maintaining customizations across versions and instances of JIRA
  • Experience integrating Jira with other tools like Bitbucket, Confluence, Jenkins, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting on Jira Linux servers
  • Demonstrated experience working with API’s
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic with good time management skills & team collaboration

Must-Have:

Certificates – ACP – 600, ACP- 120 (Certified JIRA Cloud Admin)

  • Experience practicing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery end-to-end using Atlassian tools and/or
  • Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Artifactory
  • Experience developing Jira extensions using SIL
  • Experience developing Jira extensions and behaviors using Script Runner
  • Experience developing applications/scripts in Groovy
  • Experience working with Oracle Databases
  • Experience in high availability, high performance, multi-data center/cloud platform
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and team structure
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Educational Qualification – B. Tech / M. Tech / MCA
