Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. They will join the IoT connectivity management platform for our enterprise telecom client. He/ She will oversee the execution and maintenance of the toolchain used to build and deploy the software to various environments, including highly available and geo-redundant production data centres to support the millions of IoT devices on the company's network. The platform is continually evolving to meet customer demands for performance, scalability, and features so this person will help in evolving the toolchain to meet the needs of the development team and the business to help reduce deployment time and help increase efficiency through automation and adoption of newer and best-in-class tools and technologies.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of DevOps experience.
• Linux (RedHat), Windows administration
• Programming/ Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python
• Operating Systems- Linux, Windows, Mac- command line and graphical user interfaces
• Jenkins, Subversion, Git, Jira and Confluence
• Experience integrating with REST APIs- Jira/ Confluence
• Familiarity with MS-SQL
• Network troubleshooting
• Good understanding of protocols- http, https, TCP, UDP, SMTP, SNMP, DNS
• Experience with IoT (Internet of Things), Device Technology- Highly Preferred
• Good communication skills- verbal and written
